[SOLVED] Graph Export: How to adjust time scale of exported images?

Post by shrizza »

For each device exported in graph export, I see images in the following format and time scale:

* graph_<graphid>.png (time scale is 1 day)
* graph_<graphid>_13.png (time scale is 1 month)
* graph_<graphid>_14.png (time scale is 2 months)
* graph_<graphid>_15.png (time scale is 2 years)
* graph_<graphid>_16.png (time scale is 2 years; exact same graph as above)

How can I adjust the time scale of the exported images? I checked the plugin/export settings but could not find anything obvious.

My environment is Cacti version 1.2.23, with graph export plugin version 2.1.

The timespans are set in the Data Source Profiles

By time scale I'm referring not to polling intervals or data collected per step, but rather to the actual span of time displayed in the graphs. Instead of the 1 day, 2 months, and 2 year spans currently exported, I'd like to export graphs displaying 1 day, 1 week, 1 month, and 1 year. Hopefully this clarifies the issue I'm having.

Yes, that setting is available any time under Console > Presets > Data Source Profiles.
