ive installed it.. but i go to mgmt \ report.. i get an error saying i dont have access.
im logged in as an admin, and full access to everything in cacti. double checked the instructions as well.. i cant access the plug in after i installed it

I just took at look at this one and updated it. it works via a command line now.. i fixed it so it will run on windows and uses updated mysql commands.. i dont know , or if, i can include this directly in cacti's interface to call it or schedule it.. but it works.

it appears the syslong-ng server that someone ported to windows via cygwin is missing the mysql modules (and any sql modules). Rysyslog has a windows AGENT but it's syslog server only appears to run on a linux server. reason im trying to do it all on the same windows box is that where im at we're in...

yes thats the one.
if the service is stopped and disabled, it literally wouldnt have any threads running, so it should read 0.
instead it reads 1. it USED to read 0 until jan 27th, then it changed to what i showed.
i considered uninstalling HMIB and reinstalling..

anyone familiar with using syslog-ng for sending data into mysql? if so can someone please check my code here before i attempt to make it work? but how would that have changed? it was working perfectly fine and then it doubled the value it sees. i had not changed anything in the script at all.. as you can see around jan 27th, it just started reporting double the value.

so far.. the count for what hmib is picking up for counters like instances of a service running or memory in use by a service\process is still double what it should be in reality.

gotcha.. ok so the only thing i did was import that package .. im running 1.2.23.. and i only selected those items that were changed. i went to utilities and i repopulated the poller cache.. now , wait and see if it changes anything.

looking on github, i downloaded the hmib plug in again, but the templates folder only has the package, the files that need to go in the script_server folder arent in there any more. i dont see those files that were in the older version anywhere in the download.
